Psycho page- Stuff

Here a section of my page about.. er.. Stuff. Lots of useless, meaningless things I've noticed throughout my life. Yup. Totally useless. Well, most of it, anyway.

Democracy- all citizens equal?

Ok, you're probally going to look at this and say something like "Not another stupid lecture on American Cultural History" or "Not another lecture on Women's history". Well guess what? You're absolutley... WRONG. I'm not here to talk about stuff that we've already gotten past. I'm here to talk about stuff we haven't done. So, you're probally thinking "Everyone person has the right to vote." Well, everyone person except that is....
CHILDREN!!!!
Yup. You have to be over 18 to vote! Why? Because most people, when they think of the idea of children having the right to vote, think of a little three year old going in to a booth and writing "Mickey Mouse" as their next president. (I know, I asked a friend of mine about it.) Well, I don't think three year olds should be able to vote, and it wouldn't matter if they were anyway, because they wouldn't really care about voting. I mean, for god sakes! They're three, they don't really care! Life's easy for them no matter WHO is the president at the time! But anyway, I mean kids like, say, 10-14 years or older. And if you think that children this age aren't responsible enough for the vote, well, I have one thing to say about that:
If a child is smart enough to care about voting, then I think they're smart enough to make a wise choice.
Why? I mean, think about it. You're ten. There's a new amendment about the enviroment that people are voting on. For the time being, let's just say this is an act for needing a license to cut down trees. You really want this amendment to pass- the envirment is something you really treasure and respect, hey, it's your future. But instead, a large percentage of loggers who want to cut down YOUR local forest are deciding your future. So here you are, disscussing it in class with your teachers, watching the news for info, but you don't get to say anything. Sure, you can mail all the local newcasters with your opinions, but it's not going to DO anything without your vote. Wouldn't YOU like to be able to vote in a situation like this?

Now, for all whom are concerned, of COURSE no such amendment is going to be passed, there's way to many people who need trees to live for that. It's just an example. But, think about it. If you were a kid- if it concerned YOUR future- shouldn't YOU vote? And what about Act 60? The whole act could decide YOUR education, YOUR future. But you don't see YOU voting about it- you just have to sit there while people use the largest words they possibly can, speaking about your future in some sort of "code language", and you're just sitting back and watching it, not doing anything. WELL I CAN'T STAND IT ANYMORE! oops, sorry 'bout that. Anyway, that is why I think children should be able to vote.

Instinct

Don't you hate it when people say "Animals just rely totally on instinct"? I mean, it's stupid. Do you think that a mother cougar is just caring for her cubs from INSTINCT? I mean, do you just automatically know how to take care of a baby? Do you know anyone who just takes care of a baby solely on the purpose of instinct, without actually caring about it? I mean, if humans are able to love each other, or value friendship, or whatever, I think animals can do it just as well. And if they can't, I think that human love and friendship is just instinct, too. It's one or the other- I mean, do you really think that humans are the animals that feel? And what about dogs and Cats? Don't you think dogs and cats love their companions? (Note that the sentence of the word is devoid of "master". I don't know about dogs, but you certainly don't own your cats. Ever try training a cat to come?) I mean, it's so unrealistic to just say everything is instinct except for humans.

Life on Earth, we're not alone

Millions of people every day deny the possibility of life on other planets. No, I'm not just talking UFO's, life on other planets period. These people are either 1. Being Purposely skeptic just for the heck of it 2. Just not really taking the time to think about it. And another reason that for forbidden subject purposes (Religon) I cannot get into. I mean, think about it- if the universe is endless (and if it isn't, actively expanding, according to many scientists) Than how could one, tiny, insignifcant speck be the only life there is? In such a big universe, something must be going on somewhere. I don't care if it's smarter, stupider, or equal to us- (Of course, you can't GET much stupider than us)- There is something out there, be it a tiny, microscopic ameba like the one that they found on mars. I also belive that Mars probally hosted life very similar to Earth at one time- there is proof that there was once water on it, and it looks like the conditions, plus the soil, could very well have once carried life. But anyway, back on the subject. Some people belive that they're are alien UFO's- this IS possible, somewhat unlikely, BUT IS possible. My two theories:

1. They are aliens from another planet that started off their evolution eariler and became more advanced, possibily being similar to how we could look in the distant future.

2. They ARE people from the distant future, trying to learn more about their past. (I mean, they DO look allot like people.)

3. They are some sort of cross bred people, who created great machines and made their home on another planet to escape human ridicule. Or something like that.

So, I mean, there's gotta be life out there somewhere.

Snow

Ok, you're going to think I'm totally insane, but have you ever noticed there's more than one type of snow? Really. I've classfied snow types into different groups.

1. Powder snow- this snow is powerdry, almost like fluffy hand. It doesn't shape well, it makes ever really foggy when it's snowing, and you can't see the patterns in the snow.

2. Fluffy snow- this is a light, fluffy snow that still seems to keep everything clear. This snow seems to fall in small, gathered (but NOT packed) clumps of large snowflakes, which, if
